This course is an introduction to the LGBTQIAP community and identities through a global perspective. From this course, you can expect to learn about the existence of LGBTQIAP peoples in pre-colonial and decolonial contexts, learn about each letters in the acronym, and about coming out, pronouns, and how to support LGBTQIAP people. Infused in this course is the unique wisdom and medicine that Queer and Trans communities offer the collective, as well as personal anecdotes, context, and a global perspective.
